# What is the role of a Real Estate lawyer in a property purchase transaction?

As a real estate lawyer, my role in a property purchase transaction is to represent and advise my client throughout the entire process. This includes reviewing and negotiating the purchase agreement, conducting due diligence on the property, and advising on any necessary legal documents.

One of the key responsibilities of a real estate lawyer in a property purchase transaction is to ensure that the purchase agreement **protects the interests of their client**. This includes reviewing and negotiating the terms of the agreement, such as the purchase price, closing date, and contingencies.
